Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Capone is an attorney at The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. He is committed to guiding clients through every stage of their case and helping them clearly understand their rights, options, and the legal process ahead. Michael approaches each case with attention to detail, strong communication, and a client-first mindset.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University, where he double-majored in Political Science and Anthropology. During his undergraduate studies, he completed a senior thesis examining the deterioration of Mayan cultural heritage and participated in a selective honors program that emphasized interdisciplinary study and independent research.
Michael received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2025. While in law school, he earned the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in Legal Research and Writing I. He also dedicated significant time to pro bono service, volunteering with Bay Area Legal Services at the Hillsborough County Courthouse in Tampa, where he assisted pro se litigants with family law forms. Additionally, he volunteered with the Community Law Program in St. Petersburg, supporting client intake efforts, including assisting tenants facing eviction.
Michael recently relocated to Jacksonville and is proud to have launched his legal career at The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A. He is committed to providing thorough, client-focused representation built on preparation, accessibility, and trust.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys scuba diving, traveling throughout Mesoamerica, and cheering on his favorite team, the Boston Celtics.
