Ron Sholes

BIO

Attorney Ron Sholes is the founding member of the Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A., established in 2003. Ron was born and raised in a blue-collar family in Northern Illinois. His father was a steelworker and Ron began working at a young age, learning the true value of hard work and dedication. After joining the military at 17, Ron was stationed in Mayport, Florida, and he has been a Florida resident ever since.

During his 10 years of service on active duty, Ron served in the Gulf War in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, the Bosnian Conflict, and in several Counter-Narcotics Operations in the Southern Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean. Among other things, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, and 2 Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Ron is also a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

While stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Ron attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville, where he received his Associate of Arts degree. He also received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University while serving on active duty in the U.S. military. After leaving the military, Ron studied law at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, where received his Juris doctorate.

Ron is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District. With over 20 years of personal injury experience, Ron is dedicated to vigorously fighting for the rights of the firm’s clients. Ron prides himself on ensuring the firm provides the best possible legal representation and adheres to our pledge of personal service and the aggressive representation that our clients expect and deserve. Ron is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, Jacksonville Justice Association, and Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Ron has considerable experience in a wide array of accidents and injuries, with a focus on serious accidents, injuries, and wrongful death claims.
