Sista Strut 2025: Walking Together for Awareness, Hope, and Community
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Jacksonville turned pink as our community came together for Sista Strut 2025—a powerful walk dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer in African American women. The Law Offices of Ron Sholes was honored to serve as a proud sponsor of this year’s event, standing alongside survivors, families, and supporters in a day filled with strength, unity, and hope.
A Day Filled with Energy and Purpose
The morning kicked off with music, dancing, and uplifting words that set the tone for an unforgettable event. Hundreds of participants arrived in vibrant pink outfits and team shirts, carrying signs of encouragement and love. Some walked in honor of loved ones who have survived breast cancer, others in memory of those they’ve lost, and many in solidarity with those who continue to fight.
As the walk began, the crowd moved together as one—reminding us all that breast cancer awareness is not just a cause, but a movement fueled by love, support, and the determination to make a difference.
