Keep a safe distance, never relight dubs, and leave the big shows to the pros. Let’s celebrate safely this year!
More Fourth of July Safety Tips:
- Grilling: Keep grills at least 10 feet away from any structures, never leave them unattended, and be sure to clean them regularly to avoid flare-ups.
- Driving: Holiday weekends mean more traffic and a higher risk of accidents. Don’t drink and drive- use a rideshare service or have a designated driver if you plan on celebrating with alcohol.
- Water Safety: If you’re boating or swimming, always supervise children, wear life jackets, and avoid alcohol around water.
- Pet Safety: Fireworks can be frightening for pets. Keep them indoors in a quiet, secure area, and ensure they have proper ID in case they get scared and run off.
